Steve,
You certainly know how to find awesome Mustangs! Terri and I found a '66 HiPo GT Fastback this past weekend. It's all original and for sale for $19,900.00. Not bad for at all for a HiPo. To bad we can't come up with the $20K to buy it.

I might just be nit picking the car, but for a former Cnocours car there is some quite obvious things incorrect on this car. The rubber fuel line, instead of steel, going through the fender apron, the glass pack mufflers, the incorrect starter solenoid (with blue crimp ring terminals) to just name a few. It makes you wonder just how good is this car. Oh and you cannot forget the scoop, someone should tell him that is not a shaker.

Well thats my .02

Gotta agree with Ronnie. That color, while nice, does not appear to be an original shade. To fix the door would be more than $100 and if there's one spot, are there more???? That scoop, blue on a blacked out hood, is like wearing socks with sandals. The things Ronnie mentioned-like the crimps and gas line. Surprising to me, looking at the supersize interior pics, was the dirt, on seat edges, etc. and the faded carpet with staining. Tells me to be very thorough in clean up as the camera doesn't lie. And, why wouldn't the seller do a better job in prepping a high dollar car for resale. My feeling is that buyers of a Boss 302 are going to be picky about things like that, and wonder what else is there. The bid is now 24,500. Interesting. Just an opinion.

The color is right, Acapulco blue #6. {Same color as mine will be. }

The scoop is very wrong, it's the Cobra Jet scoop, which was never put on a Boss. The black should not be glossy, but matte.

It's not concours, but nice. IMHO.

Mechanic's creedo: If it jams, force it. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway.

I just watched and listened to the RealPlayer drive by. Sounded like a Hyundai shopping cart with a rubber horn, and my computer's audio system is pretty good! Nice car though. I would think that if the problems you guys have pointed out were fixed, it would be worth a few grand more.

I should qualify that by saying it looks right to me. Once, I took some pics of a Gulfstream Aqua Mach 1 and it looked light blue on my PC. I sent it to my friend Troy, and he said the color looked right on his Apple.

Noooooo! I listened to it, and that's the sound of a nice solid-lifter Boss 302! Music to my ears!
