In my 351 W, which has went 13.1 on street tires and 3.55 gears (TFS heads etc), I am currently running the MSD entry level "Blaster" Ign box with their Blaster coil.....No compacitive charge etc.... I Just ordered the Crane Hi 6 Fireball with built in rev limiter, and Crane is running a promotion where they throw in their LX92 coil ($60 piece) for free. Now I know this should burn more efficiently, but will be there any HP or ET gains ?? Or just clean things up. #2...OEM recommendations on the autolite 3924;s call for a .032 gap...I open them to around 36 to 38.... Am I at the Spark Plug gap limit here, even with the new box..??? FYI...running an EBrock mech fuel pump, 750 DP'er, and a performer RPM intake, with a functional air scoop (not a shaker) 14x4 inch K&N that sits right at the top of a Boss 429 hood scoop, with K&N 's (Filtered Top)...making for some (Shade Tree) ram air....Thanks..------------------ EDDIE D Resto Mod '70 Sport Roof Arrest Me Red

Nice set up Eddie,I think the box will make it burn more efficiently.I would think that would add some power.I have gapped my plugs to .42.I dont make enoung power to notice any difference in the gap size yet.SCOOP ------------------ 65 coupe,351w,RPM intake,Carter625,shorty headers,2.5 exhaust, Flowmasters,C4,open 8" 2:80,Big Boss 429 hood scoop,Crager SS,Black Suede. Keep the gap at .032 to .035 Eddie. You will see some pick up in ET. ------------------ Alex Denysenko Co-Administrator and Moderator NHRA/IHRA/SRA member NHRA and IHRA SS/LA National Record Holder '00, '01, & '02 Fleet of FoMoCo products including 88 ASC McLaren Mustang #28 Part time secret agent license #0089 US Class Nationals link
