i just bought a 1969 coupe, and i am look for a good tire/wheel combo, something with the look of a magnum 500 or similiar. i believe the wheels are 5 bolt with 4.5" center, is this correct? does anyone know a good wheel/tire size combo, or of any used sets available? thanks in advance! i want to make sure not to scrub or look ridiculous..

I believe the Magnum 500 is the best looking wheel for a classic Mustang there is, bar none. They are available new so cheap, it's almost not worth it to hunt for used ones. But if you do want used ones, ebay is the best place to hunt them. Welcome to M&M! ------------------

Welcome to M&M, Quinn!! I have a '69 Mach I that I put aftermarket rims on. However, if you're interested, I still have the chrome-centered styled-steel rims (5-lug on a 4 1/2" bolt circle, 14" X 6", 4.25" backspacing), SS trim rings and non-GT center caps that came OEM on it in '69. I've seen these rims on '69 Coupes and I think they look great! I now live in Michigan and that may or may not be close to you (for shipping reasons). If you are interested in them, e-mail me and we'll discuss a price and how we might be able to get them to ya. Even if you don't want to buy mine; they are a good-looking rim that you should consider! Good Luck! Ryan

They look like the 68 GT rims without the GT emblems.

Quinn, If you go to M&M's home page, click on "Photo Gallery", then go to "Bud Brazinski's '69 428 CJ Coupe", you'll see his car with the same rims that I'm talking about. The only difference being that his center caps have the 'GT' on them and the Mach I center caps are smooth. However, if you'd like, you can e-mail me your US mailing address so I can send you a photo of them in the 'snail mail'. I don't have access to a digital camera, otherwise I'd send or post a pic of them. Ryan

Crager SS is the one and only rim. It's were it all started, and it's still the best.Ok so it's just my opinion.
