Who in 1967 said "the Mustang was no longer a sleek horse, it was more like a fat pig" This might be an easy one, but I thought i'd try

Not a bad Trivia Question at all. Normally TonyC posts Trivia Questions, but is a very busy fellow at this time of year. I do miss his questions and all the posts they generate. He was pissed because he was replaced by a GM guy. And he thought they were making the Mustang to big a whole 300lbs more

Semon E. "Bunkie" Knudsen. He was GM's former executive vice president. He only stayed for 18months and then was fired by Henry Ford II.

Bunkie didn't replace Iacocca. He was hired away from GM and was given the position of president that Iacocca thought was his. Bunkie was there for a year then Ford fired him and finally gave Iacocca the job. ------------------

He heads a company that peddles electric vehicles. He's not a big fan of Mustangs, incredibly. I saw him in an interview where he said he couldn't believe people restored them. ------------------

Stang, Very good. "Bunkie" is correct. Steve, Thank you for correcting my error. You are correct in the fact that "Bunkie" was given the job that Lee thought he should have had. Tuesday Trivia has been absent from this site for a while. It's time to explain why. For the past 20 weeks I've been doing consulting work for a firm in New Jersey and because of the location I was not driving home every night (3 hour commute) so I started staying with my in-laws that lasted about 2 months before I decided that that was too much too. So now I stay at the local Econo lodge and it has no internet access. By the time I get home on Friday night the last thing on my mind is the internet and when I get up on Saturday I have a weeks worth of household stuff to catch up on and it leaves me very little free time combine that with the holidays and you can see now why I've been so distant from the site. I miss the Tuesday Trivia because I've been doing it for more than a year now but with this project winding down I shoulld be able to get back to it. This is actually the 2nd post I've made to the site in almost 10? weeks so you can see that I've been MIA for a while. I hope to get back to my normal life very soon and will not miss working in the boonie of Noo Joisey Tony C*------------------ 65 Convertible 289 4spd M&M Member#450 It ain't done yet, but it'll be done right!!
