wondering if anyone has seen a vendor or knows how to make a NON-stock looking grill for a 65. something black (no-chrome). either striaght bars across or a mesh of some type... (1965 by the way)

anyone got pics of grills they made or bought?

You might want to look at a Shelby grille.

Or take the '65 or '66 grill and paint it completely black... It will look good...

The 66 grille painted black with each edge left natural is very attractive-as is the 66 Shelby.

just left the black mesh grill is that right?

My grill is like Mikes just all black.Nothing else on teh grill my grill is all beat up and i need a new one.But painting it black helps to hide all the little dents and dings in the grill.

Fordfan,what are going to do with that 66 grill?

Not sure yet. We are in the middle of moving, I think it may be buried over in my brother's Milkshed 20 miles away. As i remember it has a few bends, but they could probably be pushed out by hand.

Or you can get the mesh that they use on the imports. They use it on new Mustangs and it looks pretty good.
