Here's a tiny something I can add to the pool of Mustang knowledge. If you are installing the new Doug Thorley headers in a '68 302 with power steering, save yourself a lot of sweat and start by reversing a bolt. It's the top bolt of a steering assembly part that connects directly to the frame on the passenger side. If anyone has the Jim Osborne chassis manual, they'll find it on page 66 and perhaps can name it. This is actually a "legit" change 'cos it says both of the two bolts were reversed for 428 CJ's for engine decking clearance. If you don't reverse the top one with the Thorley headers, the header will touch it when you lower the engine and whole shebang will go careening off to the driver's side. I learnt this the very hardest way!?!?! Simon
