Iv'e been told there is a 12v. elec. vac pump I can install on the firewall that will maintain 20 inches of vac. for the brake booster. He did not give a company name as to where to purchase this unit. Does anybody know of such a pump and where to buy it? I called one place that wants 300.00 for theirs but was told a simular unit can be had for around 40.00 bucks.

Gary,I don't know about an aftermarket unit, but some of the racers around here have been using a junkyard oem electric pump. Found on late model Cadillacs. 94+?, the new body style. Easy to fab up a mounting bracket. Don't know how much vac, but these guys are using them for crankcase vac. Later, David Cole
