Okay,
I really want to do this, and I know there are conflicting opinions..but what I need is some solid information. I have a 67 coupe, and want to go to a Mustang II front end. What would I need from say.. a junkyard car to make this happen? There is a rod shop that will do it for $400.00, if I supply the parts. Thanks everybody.

http://www.rcmotorsports.net/

This company sells "direct fit" mustang cross members that will make the job a LOT easier. They cost around $400, but are probably worth it. They sell everything else required to make the swap as well.

Be careful of anyone who will do the whole job for $400... You just might get what you pay for. I'd at least research it a bit first. I probably wouldn't turn them loose with a "stock" crossmember and expect them to make it fit right.

My $0.02

Good Luck!

Gotta agree with Mike. I thought about doing it and talked to owner of Rod & Custom
Motorsports in Florence, SC. 843-629-1273
www.flosc.net/rcmotorsports/ He sells the complete kit which is well engineered. I had considered taking the car up there and having them do it. Can be done in 2 days- I could have been up and back in a week. I have their catalog which shows a step by step feature. They also have r & p to go with it.
