Does anyone know how many different pitman arms were available for 69 Mustangs? Is there a difference between a maunal vs. PS pitman arm? Also are 1970's the same as the 69's?
Reason I ask is im having a clearence problem when I make a full left turn, when I do the arm hits the collector on the shorty header. Im hoping there were different vesions I might try to cure the problem. Car had PS, now converted over to manual. I only changed the control valve out for one of those adaptor link ends.
Thanks

Gary, the pitman arms are different for manual & PS. The PS pitman arm has a hole for the control valves ball stud to fit into, while the manual steering pitman arm has a stud on it.
