If I'm running a 351W with a 750 carb to 6,500 RPM, what PSI fuel pump (mechanical) do I need, and will the stock fuel line be adequate? Thanks, Dave------------------ '70 ragtop Stang "I live my life 16.090 seconds at a time"

An aftermarket mechanical pump with stock fuel line will be fine at your power level. When you get down to the twelves, you can still use the stock line with a Holley red pump mounted back by the tank. 5-6 psi is plenty. SteveW

Dave I used the carter pump and went to 3/8 fuel line.I like it better then the stock one from Napa.I swear it made some difference.I know its all in my mind, but I think it made a difference and, thats all that matters. I'm sure Steve's right he's usally right. I'm currently using a new Carter fuel pump but it is only 4psi. Is that enough for 13 second passes? Dave------------------ '70 ragtop Stang "I live my life 16.090 seconds at a time"
