This Mustang concept car was a 4th attempt by Ford to restyle the Mustang into a bigger car. Its roofline showed quite a slope which made the rear window nearly horizontal. Its exhaust tips were rectangular and exited through the rear valance. Check this out.... its taillights were multicolored. When the car was coasting they turned yellow, when accelerating they were green, and of course they were red when stopping. It had a front fender badge that was a pony-over-stripes and its name was in block letters. The doors were opened electronically (no exterior handles). There were Shelby type scoops on the front fenders. The headlights were hidden behind the front grill. Its most favorite feature (on the car circuit) though was its color......Ultra Violet. What Mustang concept car is this? Tony C*------------------ 65 Convertible 289 4spd M&M Member#450 It ain't done yet, but it'll be done right!!

It is nice to see sb. is checking our (foreign) site for trivia questions or answers. I am still trying to locate the car. Rumours say it is somewhere in a museum.

Does anybody know if Ultra Violet was actually a Ford color? It is a really cool looking purple. Check out our foreign friends link above for a color picture.
