My fuse box (new fuses) is ugly -- the metal connectors are rusted and if you hit the fuse box the lights flicker somewhat --- Ive looked in 3 mustang catalogs and NONE sell fuse boxes?!?!?!?!?! Why not???

Already went to my local mustang salvage yard and they were all not worth picking up...

Its nothing major, I just figure Im chaning so many other things and it wouldnt hurt anyways
thanks, have a good one

I cant remember where I've seen a new one.I'll look around for it.But when could you use an universal unit like from painless wiring.I looked into one for my 65.They use the new type fuses and have more outlets for acc, like my electric fan.i think they run around $100 or less.Look at summit racing or jegs.I helped my father inlaw install one on his 55 p-up.

Sacramento Mustangs told me they can sell me a replacement fuse box for a '68 if I buy the underdash harness at the same time -- at more than $500! They also told me replacement clips for old fuse boxes are available, but they haven't had any stock for ages.
Anyway, it seems replacement boxes / clips are out there. It's just a question of finding them!

Simon, taker your old one out and rebuild it yourself. It's not that hard. It mostly just needs a good cleaning.

Yeah, mine's in OK shape, but some of the clips have been bent up a bit and I'd like to replace them if I can find any. I really only got interested in this 'cos the clips in my Camaro fusebox are completely useless. I have vowed to be penny-pinching with the Camaro, and so I currently have a $10 Taiwanese fuse box in there. But if I could find some replacements ...

Fuse Clips are common and available through most any on line electrical supply house Simon.

Ah ha! That reminds me of the time Sacramento Mustangs told me they didn't have any of the really short fuses. I sulked (via e-mail) until they told me I could get them at Radio Shack! Not that there are any Radio Shacks in the Philippines, but I learned a lesson
