This should be an easy one. This person had no idea when he debuted the Mustang to the general public that it was going to be the instant hit that it became. Here's the question(s)Who was this man? What event was it debuted at? When was it? and for bonus points. What city was it in? (the event). I'll see you later Tony C* ------------------ 65 Convertible 289 4spd M&M Member#450 It ain't done yet, but it'll be done right!!

One of the guys in our Music City MC has a picture of himself when he was about 4 or 5 years old standing in front of the white Mustang that was on a rotating pedestal at the NY Worlds Fair. Whenever he is at a show he puts that picture in his display, he was a helluva lot cuter when he was little Mike

Was the exact date April 17th, 1964? That date seems to stick out, but not sure...

I'll have to go to the videotape on this one but my info for this day is that it was Henry Ford II, who did indeed unveil the Mustang to the general public at the 64 Worlds Fair. It was in April of that year... sig, I'll double check the exact date. Being from NY and being at the worlds fair in 64 I only wish I had a picture of myself in front of it too. I do however remember my first ride in the back seat of my uncles what else ...Red... convertible thinking I was the coolest kid in the neighborhood Now for the bonus points... What city was the Worlds Fair in? Tony C*------------------ 65 Convertible 289 4spd M&M Member#450 It ain't done yet, but it'll be done right!!

Answer to the bonus is that it was held in Flushing Meadows. The same place as the US Open Tennis Center and the home of the Mets which is fitting because they play in a toilet bowl of a stadium. I'm sure you've all seen the Globe with the fountains surrounding it. That remains from the 64 Worlds Fair.
