I think you're right. Mighty expensive glass. Expensive even if more was included.

somebody once said "Not gonna do it." and I'll say that too in regards to eleanor. I'd like to think my car looks good as-is without needing all that fancy expensive crap. I think Pete needs to buy a 68 fastback to play with. He keeps suggesting to Sam and I and some of the others to build a Bullit or an Eleanor. You trying to live vicariously through us there, Pete??? SIg: I'm a cv person and like fastbacks but not enough to buy one. I sold a 68 Shelby project 'cause I knew I'd get tired of it. But I guess I'm just an instigator 'cause I'd like to see another Bullitt 68. I mention the Eleanor stuff cause the price is so ridiculous! Now then, does anyone look like Nicholas Cage???? LMAO!!

$4995 for a body kit? Sounds like the type of money a ricer would put up for some body mods. Although the Eleanor body style is sweet. It's just the ridiculous price that kills it. You could make these with molds and some other pieces that are already available and come out cheaper and ahead of the game. My ole man is a whiz with fiberglass fabrication * restored and customized vet's that where in bad shape* He made the duck tail spoiler on my coupe. anyway sorry for the long post.Snake_Eyes ------------------ Success comes to those who hustle wisely. I know I'm late on this one but did any of you see the original "Gone" on Speed Vision the other night? It was actually painful to watch. That had to be the worst acting I ever saw in my life. And the clothes... to think that I once dressed like that is Tony C*------------------ 65 Convertible 289 4spd M&M Member#450 It ain't done yet, but it'll be done right!!

Those threads are highly sought after, today. How long was YOUR hair. My boss was always on my case about long hair. He drew the limit on headbands!! LOL!! Good trouser cuff width was 12" !! and the shirts!! All of my customers dressed the same way! No wonder I was divorced!! LMAO!! Was a GOOD time to be!! Years ago, I took that stuff downtown to a homeless shelter. Swear I saw an old man wearing one of my shirts! What a trip! I was driving a 72 Gran Torino when I got married again and split the scene. Still hung on to the hair for a spell.

Man $5000 for body mods.No way, why have a second of a kind, when your car is the 1st.Eleanor is a cool car saw it on display at Hot August Nights. But would rather spend the money on go fast stuff. But then again my car is black primer and will be that way for some time. And yes had the long hair, bell bottoms silk shirts. And I'm only 36 cant image what some of you old timers would have worn.Ron ------------------ 65 coupe with a stock 1969 351w,RPM intake,carter625cfm,shorty hedmen hedders, black magic electric fan, stock C4,peg leg 8" 2:80,Boss 429 hood scoop, cragers, primer black.
