In my never-ending hunt for a '68 horn ring, I came across this page of parts ... http://www.metromustang.com/67parts.html For between $200 and $250, you can buy yourself a USED underdash wiring harness for a '67 or '68. Is it time for me to become a used harness collector??

... and I have a drawer FULL of old Ford harnesses -- T'birds, Mustangs. A guy who runs a restoration shop just dumped them on me one day. If he'd asked me to pay, I would have offered him $10 for the lot! Anyone want to buy some used ORIGINAL '68 Mustang headlamp bulbs???

Needing a new 68 underdash harness, I went on vintage-mustang.com. I bought one for 45 and sent it back as it had bad splices. I put a wanted ad in v-m and got a reply from a parts dealer. It cost me 110 but it was flawless and it's in the car. Yesterday, I saw an uncut harness for a 66 advertised for 75. Anyway, sometimes a person has to shop around and be patient. I would not pay 250 for an underdash harness.
