Maybee someone here could help me out with a question, I am thinking of going with the 65 GT-350 R gauge cluster in place of my 5 dial cluster because I want a tach & want all the gauges mounted in the cluster & not bolted on or under the dash. My question is if anyone knows the GT-350 R gauge cluster panel that is sold in the Mustang parts books, was that panel just screwed to the dash with the gauges mounted in the panel or is it like the standard Mustang cluster where the gauges are mounted in a rear panel with the finish panel screwd to that making the finished unit?. Any help would be appriciated. ------------------ Mike & Robin 65 Mustang Fastback 87 Crown Vic 96 Ranger Extd Cab 99 Explorer Sport M&M #- 890 MCA #- 04549

Mike The one I have seen are rather crude and ill fitting, remember these were race cars, not show cars. I recently seen a Haneline dash with all the gages, the fit was equivalent to a standard dash cluster, they aren't cheap, but do look nice Mike

I used a rather beat up 65 dash bezel and some 1/8 inch thick plastic to construct my own cluster that fits fine. I left the tach out of my cluster as I prefer the big tach on the dash. As can be seen from the pics, I also eliminated the dash pad altogether to give a cleaner appearance and make the gauges stand out more....randy ------------------ www.bossman-motorsports.com [This message has been edited by bossman (edited 04-30-2001).]

Mustangs Umlimited (mustangsunlimited.com)has an R-Model dash in their catalogue...goes for $65. Delta Bay (925-634-7776) also has the panels and a lot more R-Model stuff. They also have a web site...something like deltbay mustang.com. I do know that fitting them takes time and patience....but they look oh soooooo cool!! Goodluck.
