Wanna see another sweet Merc truck? Look here:http://www.ford-trucks.com/classifieds/showproduct.php?product=12155&sort=1&cat=17&pa ge=5 Ryan (I know, I know,,,,,it isn't a "pre-60s" truck, but you can still 'flame me' if it'll make you feel better) [This message has been edited by Ryan Wilke (edited 10-09-2006).]

Mercury trucks were common in Canada from the late 1940`s until 1968. Other than the tailgate, hood lettering, and emblems, they were pretty much identical to a Ford. I used to own a 1967 Mercury M-100 short box fleetside back in the mid 80`s. The Mercury trucks were available in the 100,250,&350 pickups, as well as larger models like the M600"Big Job", all the way up to tandem axle "Super Duty" dump trucks, Cab Over highway tractors, buse, parcel vans, as well as early style Econoline vans. ------------------ 78 Fairmont 428 4 speed [email protected] 1.32 60 foot 80 Fairmont 302 5 speed 12.8@105mph 85 Mustang NHRA M/Stock 302 5speed.
