Yeah, I used to have a 67 Mercury 100 fleetside shortbox about 18-20 years ago. It had a 352, auto and the 5 lug Dana 60 3.54 posi rearend. It got scrapped after the cab mounts rotted away, and would break the steering column coupler. I`ve also had a few of the Merc tailgates, good swap meet items.------------------ 78 Fairmont 428 4 speed [email protected] 1.32 60 foot 80 Fairmont 302 5 speed 12.8@105mph 85 Mustang NHRA M/Stock 302 5speed. That's cool. I was surprised last year to see one parked at the local Home Depot, it was one from the fifties, and they we using it just like any other truck. I had never seen one in person before that.------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '70 Mustang Convertible - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 XL

Yup, it's like a Ford but with more letters! Want to hear something funny? Since we bought Pam's Sable last summer we've had several people come up to me saying "Ha, I thought you'd never buy anything except a Ford product?" ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '70 Mustang Convertible - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 XL

I have never seen one that year. The Mercury trucks, including"M" series pickups, Econoline vans, Heavy Duty tandem axle units, parcel vans, school buses, dump trucks etc were quite common up here in Canada for many years. Mercury trucks were sold at Canadian Mercury dealerships from the late 40`s, thru 1968. It seems that the ratio of Fords to Mercs was fairly even, kinda like Chev vs GMC trucks.------------------ 78 Fairmont 428 4 speed [email protected] 1.32 60 foot 80 Fairmont 302 5 speed 12.8@105mph 85 Mustang NHRA M/Stock 302 5speed.
