I have an F250 Extra Duty 4X4 with the FI 460 and a 5 speed. One of the exhaust manifolds has cracked and makes a horrid noise and leakes gas into the cab.

Sooo I find myself with an excelent reason to put long tube headers and a better flowing exhaust.

My questions are:

1. Will the better exhaust upset the computer?

2. Any suggestions about brand? I don't want a drone at highway speeds.

3. Will putting a 70 timing set on the motor upset the computer?

4. Would a better flowing manifold and heads upset the computer?

AS you can tell I am afraid of upsetting the computer.

John

I believe that uses a speed density system, but I still think it won't have a problem, as long as you keep the oxygen sensor[s] hooked up.
