hi, im 15 and have started on my project car (bronco II) and theres a few things that i need a little background on, 1. theres a grinding noise when the clutch is let out 2. today i couldent even get the key to turn in the ignition 3 .i have quite a few more thigs wrong on the truck but i think i can figure it out any help is appreciated, thanks

Might be a dumb suggestion, but sometimes the ignition switch won't turn if the steering wheel is tight against the wheel lock. Try turning the steering wheel a little each way and see if the key will turn.

thanks, ive tryed to move the wheel already and it dost seem to be the culprit, and it is on of those that have the buttons to remove the key, ive been on e-bay and have noticed that a few of the broncoIIs around 87 have had the steering colum replaced, is there a defect in the manufacturing of the colums, or is it a coinsidence?
