Hey guys, I am helping a friend replace his 400M in a 78 F150. He ordered a crate motor to replace it, and on the passenger side of the timing cover area, there are 2 smooth holes in the block. Looking at the engine we are pulling out, one has a barb for a heater hose in it, and the other has a freeze plug (these holes are only about 1/2" diameter). Where can I come by one of these press in barb fittings and a freeze plug? Thanks for the information.

You should be able to get the freeze plug and heater hose stem at NAPA. The Cleveland uses the same heater hose stem.
