Well, since I have not posted in some time, I figured I will let you guys know what I have been up too. I finally finished wiring in the Duraspark II. I mounted the box under the drivers seat to keep it away from heat and keep the engine bay clean. With the truck sitting so long the radiator decided to leak. The bad side was that the core was too far got to repair, so I had it re-cored. The good side is I found out what the radiator is out of. 70-72 big block Lincoln. So, all that is done and I try to start the engine, no fuel. After a bunch of trouble shooting I found that the flexline under the cab had a hole and the tank was full of rust. Last week I got a new tank and bent up some new lines last night. Just waiting on a new flexline and I should get to hear it run. I can't wait------------------ Dustin C "The Mopar Guy!" 56 F-100 Mech. for wifes 69 Mustang coupe 302 with 69 351W heads and Offy 4bbl intake, C4, Granada disc brakes, Mach 1 springs, Boss 302 sway bar, 8" open 65 Plymouth Barracuda

Not yet. The tank mounts are off by 1/2" on one side, so I have to weld on some flat stock to the new tank. The flex line I got was wrong too. It was male to female, vs. the female to female hose I need. This weekend I am going to try to get as far as I can on it. Once its running, I have to track down a slow leak in the rear brakes, replace a upper rear shock mount and find a pair of rear shocks for it. I was shocked to find the rear only had one shock at the moment.------------------ Dustin C "The Mopar Guy!" 56 F-100 Mech. for wifes 69 Mustang coupe 302 with 69 351W heads and Offy 4bbl intake, C4, Granada disc brakes, Mach 1 springs, Boss 302 sway bar, 8" open 65 Plymouth Barracuda

This weekend I fixed a radiator mount and installed the fresh radiator. The new fuel tank was not a perfect fit, but with some grinding I got it in. bent up a new fuel line. I bolted down the seat, but I moved it too far back. I will have to move it forward 1". Last week I got a Ford horn button and cut it down to fit in the Buick 3 spoke steering wheel I got(Im using a GM tilt column). Only a few things to go. Oil change, find a hydraulic shop to make me a fuel line, change out the rear brake cylinders, install a new(er) rear upper shock mount, fix the seat, and fire it up. I was hoping to hear it run this weekend, but didn't happen.
