I'm kindof shopping for a tuning module.

From what I've seen so far, I like the Edge w/Attitude and the Banks Boss Hog.

Both have a control unit for the dash with guage readouts for EGT, Boost, etc.

The Edge can be used to set 5 different power levels on the fly. Not sure if the Banks can do that.

Anybody have any experience on these?

I am considering one of these, an exhaust system, 4 inch at least, and a K&N intake setup.

I'm not looking for a lot of H.P. but would like to improve the mileage.

hello dad you can throw one of your famous 351C in there but on the serious tip look at www.therangerstation.com they have lots of good info. You can read all you want but to post you have to be a member (cost 2.00 a month paypal)I do recall them saying that exhast over 2 inch is pointless and at that point you start to lose back pressure. hope that helps some.

Sorry, I'm no help, but DV's ride is a diesel, so the 2" theory kinda goes out the door.

Have you tried the diesel forum on FTE?

Yeah, its 3 and a half inch now. That's factory. There are 4 inch and 5 inch aftermarket systems for it. Sewer pipe!

Its a 7.3L power stroke. I wish I had the 6.0L transmission behind my 7.3.

These guys will know www.thedieselstop.com . Their forums are broken down into yr/motor so you can pinpoint what you are looking for. And since it's a diesel only site, there is a ton of info there.

Although it wasn't on a Ford, we had one guy bring a Dodge diesel truck into the shop and test a Banks chip vs an Edge chip. The Edge chip made more power on all levels, and he claimed it was cheaper also.

And don't let him kid ya, he's lookin for more power so he can keep up with me now.
