I am redoing a 1977 ford f-100 stepside pickup. I kind of want to turn it into a street/strip vehicle. It currently has a 429 ford motor in it that I have pulled and am getting ready to rebuild. My question is, do they make a tri-power (3-2bbl carbs) intake for this motor. I ahve not been able to find one and was wondering where I might look for just such a beast? Scott

Well, Scott, I have never seen a 3-2bbl intake setup for a 429/460 BBF engine.... ..either....yet. I'm confident that FoMoCo never offered one on a car or truck. I'd say if there is one out there somewhere it would be a proto-type intake that wasn't put into production. Lots of spread-bore 4bbl intakes, square-bore (holley) intakes, 2-4bbl intakes, tunnel ram (high rise) single and double 4bbl intakes,,, but can't say I've ever seen a "6-pak" intake for a Ford/Lincoln/Mercury 385 series 429/460 engine. Let us know if you find one! GOOD LUCK! Ryan
