In 1975 could a Ranchero with a 400 have a C-4 in it? I saw one with what looks like a C-6 bell with a C-4 inback of it? The guy says he's the 1st owner and it has never had any tranny work done to it.

FORD CATALOGING shows for 1975 the 351M available with either the C4 or C6. The 400 was only available with the C6. The FMX was also available on that year's model 351M/400.

Take a look at the tranny pan,they never lie. There were some big block pattern C4's though. They are very HTF.
