Im thinking of buying a late 70's F-250 to swap the discs to my 1970 F-100. I read that the F-250 parts from a pre 79 will work, but the problem is that the F-250 uses 8 lug rims. Can it be converted to 5 lug. Are the rotors the same or am I SOL?------------------ Dustin C "The Mopar Guy!" I think it's a go,but not sure. Is this 2WD or 4WD? I think the 4WD's are the same.

Why not locate a 1973-1979 F-150 with 5 lug rotors? You need to swap spindles, rotors and dual (disc/drum) master cylinder. This swap works all the way back to 1965 twin I-beams.Tracy ------------------ Tracy M&M #245 MAC OS9.1 / Earthlink 1956 F-100 Panel w/429 (3.50 9") 1966 F-100 SWB w/351C (3.25 9" - 3.70 posi for Saturday nights) Music City F-100's, 1965 GT-350 S/C (2.78 1st & 3.70 TracLok 9") Music City Mustang Club Don't focus on the destination....make the JOURNEY the adventure Visit my Web site: DidgeyTrucker's Website

Yeah, I am still looking. It was just a good price and came with a 460, but I really want to keep the 5 lug pattern that all my Ford and Mopar stuff uses.Thanks. ------------------ Dustin C "The Mopar Guy!" Those parts are plentiful and should be cheap.
