My 95 Ranger 4.0L is missing a vacuum line off the intake manifold. None of my books shows me where this line goes. Hopefully someone will know which line I am speaking of... On the upper/plastic intake manifold, that attachs to the fuel rail on the drivers side back, there are two vacuum lines that come out. The furthest one back goes down to the EGR valve, which is connected, but the port directly in front of that is the one giving me trouble.. Can anyone help me? Thanks alot. ------------------ "In the wise words I was once told bye Jiggy"

I don't have the manual for that engine, but using logic, since it leads to the EGR, the line must come from a vacuum source such as the intake mainfold itself, and since it's a EGR it would need to be temperature regulated, so look for a temperature switch on either somewhere in the air cleaner inlet or at the coolant jacket, perhaps at the water pump or close to. ------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 351C 4V/FMX/3.25 Open '70 Mustang Convertible 250 I6/3 speed/2.79 Open '72 Mustang Sprint Hardtop 351C 4V/FMX/4.30 Trac Loc '94 F-150 XL 5.8L/E4OD/3.55 Limited Slip
