What auto transmission was used in a '94 Ranger with a 3.0 L V6? Was it computer controlled? How hard would it be to swap an auto in for the existing 5 speed assuming the use of an aftermarket floor shifter?

Sorry I'm not much help,Moneypit. I think it would be a computer controlled trans. As for a five speed swap, I would go to a junkyard and look at a truck with a m/t to see where the differences are. One issue would be with the computer, because i am sure that will be programmed into it.
