94 Ranger Rear Slinding window got busted out. Just the sliding part. Is there a way to fix without replacing the whole unit? Glass shop says no. Can it be replaced with a solid glass (non-sliding) unit? If so, is it a do it yourself operation.

Back windows aren't too expensive.IIRC. It would be less of a hassle to just change it.

Take you a ride over to Recycle Rd in Rancho and pick up a glass out there and take it in to have it installed. It's a bunch cheaper than what the guys at the glass shop would charge for it. About $45 vs $100+I know, I also lived there in Sac and had my share of broken windows from low lifes stealing my stereo equip. ------------------ '90 F150 Super Cab XLT Lariat 5.0/AOD/3.55 275/60/15 BFG's Latest Mod - 204/214 cam Next: Carbed 418W in the near future.
