I need a rear bumper.

If I want a truck with a bumper that is.

I call the local hitch place inquiring about getting a class 3 put on my F250 with a drop bumper.

Sure, no problem, $190 installed! If you get rid of the bumper. It won't fit otherwise.

I want/need the hitch so the bumpers gotta go. Ford wants $330 for a bumper!! I don't think so! We are going to try a salvage yard in the area, as I would really rather have a bumper of some kind (decent looking, nothing tubular ) back there for when there is no trailer.

Oh yeah, they said I may need to remove my spare tire, and if I had dual exhaust it may have to be modified. Spare has been in the bed for years, and it is a 7.3L, so single exhaust.

I just can't believe this whole bumper thing.

You could just take it off and sell it in a want ad. Then you can get one of those cute rollpans and put the rest in the fuel tank!

Try a local body shop, Keystone aftermarket bumpers look like factory at half the cost.

"Are you tough enough to drive a tacoma?"

That's like asking "Are you man enough to chew through Cool Whip?"
