My dad just called me up with a problem. He can't find any timing marks on the harmonic balancer. Where are the timing marks on a 61 F100 with a 292?

They have to be on that balancer.Ford usually puts the pointer on the passenger side.

He says that he has sanded the edge of the balancer and he still doesn't see any marks....

By the looks of the pics on this page, http://www.rodandcustommagazine.com/tipstricks/74739/ it looks like there's a pointer on the passenger side and probably just a line on the balancer. Have your dad spin the engine over to TDC on #1, then look real closely at the balancer at the 10-11 o'clock position.------------------ '70 Mustang Mach 1 - '72 Mustang Sprint - '94 F-150 Please remember our sponsors, Mustangs Plus, NPD, Osborn Reproductions, MyFordPerformance.com, and FordRamAir.com
