With the key at the on position without the engine running, the oil pressure gauge goes to about 3/4 up the scale. Does this sound like the sender or gauge? It's in MrsMule's 97 Expedition (5.4L)Thanks ------------------

Has it always done that? GM gauges float like that when the cars are off.------------------

never noticed. it does go to the bottom with the key off.
