My brother's truck's speedometer is acting all funny and messed up, with the speedo needle jerking around and the o/d off light flashing. I replaced the speedometer sensor on the differential and disconnected the battery this past weekend, but this did not do the trick? What to try next? The wires that go to the sensor? The speedometer itself? Or is it something under the sensor in the differential?

Thanks in advance for the help guys.

Have you been under the dash lately? It may have to do with the cluster harness.

no, haven't been under the dash, but I will check there and make sure at least everything is tight and in good shape.

The flashing O/D indicator is showing that there's an error code somewhere in the computerized transmission controls. Probably related to the speed-o sender. Try f150online.com. You my have some luck there.
