I was thinking of removing the EGR valve and the spacer that it's connected to and replacing it with just a plane spacer. The question is what will the effect? Will removing the EGR/spacer make the truck run better or worst, better or worst gas milage?
Thanks David

Most of the time,it will have little effect. It will make warm up a little longer, but not much. You may need to reset your idle mix screws to compensate. It will run a little richer.
