I have a 1979 F150 4x4 with standard non-tilt wheel. I have access to a 1979 Bronco 4x4 with a tilt wheel. All appears to be the same or very similiar, but my only concern would be that the Bronco has cruise control on the steering wheel pad, and my truck does not. Does anyone know if these will swap ok? Do I have to use the harness from my truck or can I use the existing steering wheel wiring harness from the Bronco as is? I just assume the connectors would be different at the bottom. If any thoughts or past experiences with this situation, please drop a note here. Thanks!

There should be no problem putting in the tilt column. There should be a separate harness for the cc,and you can either leave it unplugged,or switch your truck to cruise! [This message has been edited by MLariviere (edited 05-25-2002).]
