I just had my '67 F100 sprayed by MAACO. I've spent the last year doing prep work on the body and changing the driveline. The paint job came out AWESOME! Of course the key was the prep work that I did. The engine has been changed from a 351C/C6 combo (hated the gas mileage and the good parts are going in my '73 Stang) to the following:
85 5.0 roller block
Duraspark ignition w/steel gear
Edelbrock Performer
1850 Holley
1.5" Headers w/2.5" 40 series Flowmasters
Ford Motorsport cam
.030" Hypereutectic pistons
Clevite 77 rods and mains
88 F150 5-Speed tranny
86 F150 164 tooth flywheel
88 F150 Hydraulic clutch setup
67 9" with 4.11s and Detroit Locker

How do I post a picture? I'm still putting the bumpers and glass back in...but I'm proud of it and want to show it off!

The above image was accomplished by using the following format (omit all uses of the question mark - this is only to prevent an error from occurring during the explanation):

[?IMG]http://www.image_source_url[?/IMG]

Uh, did I mention you have to have the image stored on a website first? (your ISP usually allocates space for you to upload pics, text, etc).

Or, in the case above though, i just right clicked on the pic, clicked 'properties', then copied and pasted the address and used it as the url. (ex: [?url=https://mustangsandmore.com/ubb/SmMikesF150.jpg?].

'Hope I haven't confused you as much as I've confused myself!

If you don't mind me asking... What did the paint job end up costing you?

For Maaco to spray it cost me $299.90 and that included a sealer and paint. I've got about another $200-300 in primer, filler, glazing putty, sand paper, paint for the jambs and under the hood, and other supplies that I used doing the prep work.
