Just purchased a 2000 Ranger 4X4 Extnd Cab to replace the 96 Ranger (RIP) that I wrecked, my question is, this truck has power windows, & power door locks & cruise control, are the switchs supposed to light up when the lights are turned on like on the Explorer?. The 2 local Ford dealers are CLUELESS on this.  ------------------

I couldn't tell you,Mike. The Explorer does light them in the 2000 models,but I would assume not in the Ranger. The SUV's usually get the higher appointments.
