I have an 86 Bronco II that quit on me. I've replaced : Dist, pickup, module, checked out coil, still will not start. Need help.

Do those Broncos have the fuel injection with the TFI module?? They can go bad and leave you stranded...

I am assuming you have checked to make sure your ignition module is still working.

I had an 88 like that a few years ago. Tried everything. Turned out to be very simple. There is a ground wire that grounds the electronics to the battery. The terminal end had come off. Didn't notice it. Finally found it. Crimped on a new terminal and it fired right up.

You need to trace the spark from spark plug back until you find the bad component. It won't take long if you are systematic.

Apparently, the coil was bad and was blowing the modules. Luckily I had extra modules and coils.
