Thats all I heard as the 1/4 inch extension dropped down the distributor shaft right after I had primed the pump.I am so flippin mad I could cry.

Been there,bro,been there. Did you forget the clip on the oil pump drive shaft? How did you drop it in? When I do this op,I treat it with the respect of open heart surgery. I use a long 1/4 drive extension with a deep socket TAPED to it,and hang on to it all for dear life.

I had taped the socket onto the extension, but didn't tape the extension to the adapter going into the chuck of the drill. Man, I AM SO PI$$ED WITH MYSELF RIGHT NOW!!!! I was pulling back out of the operation, climbing down off the truck and "clunk there it went"
