I am changing the valve cover gaskets on my 91 explorer with felpro ones and would like advise on whether to prep the gasket, like soak in hot water, put on dry or any other advise. The gaskets tend to leak on these 4.0 and I only want to do this once, pain in the _ _ _ to get to them because of the air conditioning. I have to do my 92 ford ranger also but that one will be easier with no air conditioning. Thanks for any advice.
