I know the old lifters were damn near flat but I figured they were worn. But the new ones are also flat (damn near anyway). Help me out here. Stop me from going insane (thats already happening by waiting for parts ) Is that what a flat tappet cam is? If so, I didn't know my truck had a flat tappet cam. IP: Logged

They are a little convex on the bottom,but not enough to be overly appearant. Just be sure to put on a good assembly lube,and run the cam in when you first fire it up. IP: Logged
