my replacement used 5.0 engine (used)came with a new looking set of Bosch plugs, the multifire type(4 tips. I have been working toward better mileage and am wondering if these are the best plugs for this engine. I have a brand new set of NGK plugs on the shelf and wonder if they would be better performers. The enging runs fine but is not the greatest on mpg. A new O2 sensor gives me 14 mpg up from 10 or so before replacement. Toivo

I'm an old f**t but I never have beleved in multible tip plugs spark is going to jump from only the closest one,and only that one.Unless you can change the laws of phyisics,Piston engine Aircraft run pultiole groungd plugs ,but thats because of goverment reg's for backup systems required on aircraft, you cant park them on side of cloud and fix them I'mFAA ceritified.
