Has anyone who owns a 4.6 F-150 changed their spark plugs yet? Mine are now due and the Ford 100,000 km plugs are over $100.00. I was wondering if I can use a 'normal' type of plug or am I tied to the Ford plug?
Help!!!
Dave

I don't see why you couldn't use an over the counter quality platinum plug. As plugs get older, they burn, and the gap widens. This will drop performance a bit.

Yeah, just get a set of Autolite Platinums. Anything at a dealer is always 3Xs the price.

$100 spark plugs, geez!
