I am taking my 93 Lightning in monday for the recall. Anyone else have this done yet? They claimed it should only take 1 - 1.5 hours to do.

The switch that seperates the two tanks is bad. And supposedly it will start returning fuel from one tank to the other and overflow it, possibly causing a fire. The switch gets corroded or something.
They kept my recall sheet when I went in and set up the appt., and I cant remember the technical terms it used.

I wonder why only the Lightnings and not the others with dual tanks?

It said in the recall letter certain F150 models equiped with dual tanks were also included.
Not sure which ones it meant.
