ChukM Journeyman Posts: 9 From: Roswell, ga usa Registered: Jan 2001	posted 03-12-2001 08:46 AM I'm thinking of putting FI in my 82 f100. I can get an 87 fi 302. throttle bodt and breather missing. My questions are: Were there any mass air trucks or all speed density? Will the throttle body from a 300 work on a 302? Are junkyard throttle bodies worth the risk or just buy a new one? I'm not sure if the throttle bodies interchange,but the manifolds will certainly be different from a 300 to a 302.You could get used parts for a bargain,maybe a couple hundred or so.Try getting them from something that runs if you can. Get all you can from the donor vehicle. You may even need the ignition system. IP: Logged
