I was talking to a fellow last night who wants to put a 302 into his son's 83 Ranger pickup. The truck has a gutless 2.3 I-4 in it right now with a 4-speed. Anyone done this swap before? Would the 4-speed hook up to a 302 with the correct bellhousing? If not, which tranny would work in this application? How about motor mounts and ignition module?Any tips, experience or advice would be appreciated. Are there any websites out there dedicated to this swap?? Thanks guys!! ------------------

Thanks Steve! That helps out quite a bit. I'll pass the info onto the fellow that was asking me about this swap. Looks like it's a bit more involved than I first thought.------------------
