Registered: Nov 2000	posted 08-01-2004 08:39 PM 1990 grand marquis. the speedometer is slow about coming up. i can get up to about 65 mph and it will stick on about 40-45. i can beat on the dash and it will gradually come up to the correct speed. does the same thing when i slow down. anybody got any ideas short of pulling the speedometer out? thanks ------------------ mike r racing is real everything else is just a game. 81 capri-302-7.33 @92mph 1/8 1.54 60 ft. http://www.angelfire.com/ny5/billswebsite/pg06.html IP: Logged

In the old days you could lube them, but now they are 'permanently lubed' which means 'throw it away.'
