I need info on swapping a 92 - 5 Ltr (302) V8 with an AXOD Tranny (automatic overdrive, electronic shift) into an 84 Ford that currently has a 3.8 ltr. V6, and a C3 or C4 tranny. Questions I need answered are :
1). Are the rear engine bolt patterns the same between the 2 motors?
2). Will the 302 with the AXOD tranny bolt into an 84 LTD 2 Brougham (this is the small LTD, about the size of a Monarch or Maverick) , and if so, will I have to also install the wiring harness and computer (the 302 is tuned port fuel Injection, while the V6 is throttle body injection) from the donor car (an 88 Lincoln Town car) ?
3). will I need to change out Tranny crossmember for the rear tranny mount to bolt up the AXOD into the LTD, or modify the driveshaft length?
4). If I retain the C4 in the LTD, and bolt up the 302, will I still need the engine harness and computer to run the port fuel injection (if so, I'll probably change it over to a carburetor & intake)
Any assistance or referrence websites would be appreciated ?

That car was offered with the 302 V-8, should be able to find mounts in a salvage yard. Can't answer the other questions, sorry.
