Does anyone know of any headers that will fit an 86 Mercury Grand Marquis 5.0L? Will a pair of Fox chassis full length headers fit? I'm using the Grand Marquis chassis for a truck project I'm starting. Thanks.

You are in unchartered waters there, but the new shorty headers hug the block pretty well.

I guess I'll have to make my own. Maybe some wild fender well headers.

I know this is a little late, but yes, they will fit...the downside, you have to get a mustang shorty h-pipe and run dual exhaust out to the rear.....stock shorty headers also fit with a stock H-pipe, by the way, or any of the aftermarket shorties or h-pipes...

Use any Mustang 5.0 headers. I just replace the factory 5.0 headers (1993) I used on my 82 wagon with JBA 1/5/8" unequal length. My 82 wagon as of 2 days ago also is running a BBK off road pipe, summit mufflers (flowmasters to follow), and the pipes from a Magnaflow cat back system. Essentially a mustang exhaust (2.5"). The only addition from the mustang exhaust is a extra bend and stainless tips to extend out the side. I moved the cats to just forward of the mufflers, so not to cut the x-pipe.
