Hi, I have a 65 Galaxie Ranchwagon. It has the original drums all round. Can someone please tell me what stub axles (spindles)will BOLT ON so I can run disc brakes up front. No one here in OZ seems able to help. I am coming to SoCal in August and will be looking to find some appropriate spindles complete with discs. CheersPS if anyone knows where I can find parts in SoCal for my wagon such as a good tailgate, please let me know. thanks. My internet searches have proved quite fruitless!

Safest bet;66/67 FORD/THUNDERBIRD Most any later FORD (68/72) SHOULD ALSO WORK. Also 73/ TORINO series (Torino-Elite-Thunderbird-LTD II-Montego).

any big ford 68-73 will bolt right up(you use your existing tie rods etc), If you can ,grab the master and the proportioning valve while you're at it.All the brake parts are still available from the major brake suppliers. If you email me direct I'll give you an 800 number for the brake shoes, locator pins, rebuilt calipers, and disks etc.I've done this swap a couple of times and helped a couple of others do it.Its really very simple and you won't believe the difference------------------ 73 Mach 1 351c 67 LTD 428 46 Sedan chopped, sectioned, fullcustom 51 F1 chopped and dropped
